Good to know

Arrival and access

Check-in is from 16:00. Before travelling, save the address and the access instructions sent with your booking. Let your host know if your expected arrival time changes. Early check-in needs confirmation; do not assume the accommodation will be available before the stated time.

Keys and access

Before heading out, check that you have what you need to get back in: keys, a card or a code, as described in your access instructions. Keep access details within your booking group. If you lose a key or cannot get in, contact your host.

Luggage and timing

Arriving early or travelling late? Request early check-in, late checkout or luggage storage in advance. These are separate arrangements and none is automatically included. Keep to the times in this guide unless your host confirms a change.

Appliances and energy

Read any instructions beside an appliance before using it. If using cooking facilities, switch off the hob and oven when finished; do not interrupt a wash cycle to force a door open. Turn off lights you do not need and leave the fridge and router plugged in, where provided.

Bathroom and daily care

Put wipes, sanitary products and other waste in the bin, not the toilet. Wipe up water left on the floor after showering and hang towels to dry. If you notice a leak, a blocked drain or anything broken, report it promptly so it can be addressed.

Waste and recycling

Use the bins in the accommodation and separate waste according to any labels or instructions provided. Close bags before taking them to the designated collection point. If you do not know where it is, check before taking rubbish out; do not leave bags on landings or by the entrance.

Being a considerate neighbour

Keep music and conversation quiet at night and early in the morning, including when coming and going. Close doors gently and avoid dragging furniture. Where spaces are shared, keep passageways clear and take your belongings with you after using them.

Planning your departure

Checkout is before 11:00. Check drawers, cupboards, the bathroom and sockets for anything you may have left behind. Close windows and follow the instructions you received for returning keys or securing the entrance. Do not guess at cleaning tasks: check those specified in your booking.
